About

Every year we take a group of young, creative adventurers into the wilderness for a week of creative exploration.

There is no WiFi connection to spoil the experience of full rainbows arching above gigantic mountains, stunning sunset and sunrise vistas, picturesque creek front glamping and luscious green hills. This is arguably one of the most stunning properties you’ll find to run these Creativity Camps.

Throughout the week the young people are given the opportunity to be fully immersed in creative exploration: exploring themselves and getting comfortable with moments of solitude, exploring the wilderness and seeing it with fresh eyes, exploring their friendships and forming new ones and lastly, exploring their creativity through a playful program without the pressure of a polished outcome.

We run these camps twice a year: once for the high school aged students aged 13-18 and once for upper primary students aged 10-12. Young People have stated that the camps are a life changing experience. Our young participants have consistently given the Creativity Camps a 100% satisfaction rating. Even the food scores a 10/10 from the young people who are fed healthy, nourishing meals to help fuel their creativity.

The students are accommodated in beautiful glamping bell tents that are strategically placed in some of the most jaw dropping settings you can imagine: next to babbling brooks, atop mountain vistas and under hundred-year old fig trees.

These camps fill very quickly once dates are released due to the quality and the experience the young people are offered. The program is run by professional educators who have had years of experience in the arts and education with formal training. This honestly is not one to be missed, so jump on board and LET’S GET WILD!

Don’t change a thing! It was honestly one of the best most memorable experiences of my life and I wouldn’t give it up for anything. Can’t wait for the next one.

See us in action!

‘The Art of Connection.’ “The need for connection and community is primal, as fundamental as the need for air, water and food.” Dean Ornish Recently, the Goat Track Team went INTO THE WILD as a part of our ‘Year of the Explorer’ program. Thirty- two young people joined us on the adventure of a lifetime as we camped, created and connected across a week during the school holidays. In this short documentary, we capture the process of these young people disconnecting from technology in order to connect with themselves, each other, the natural environment and their creative spirit. The whole experience was such a timely reminder for us all, about nurturing young people’s most important connections. With recent studies have found that the opposite of addiction is not in fact sobriety but connection, opportunities like this should not be viewed as a luxury but as a critically important part of young people’s health and well being What do you think? Do you think young people are given sufficient opportunities to disconnect from technology and reconnect to themselves, their peers and their environment? And do you think creativity and the arts have a part to play in these connections? We’d love to hear what you have to say.
