ACTING FOR FILM STUDIO EXPERIENCE
Come to the Studio Experience and experience first hand what the Acting For Film Course is really like.
These experiences will be held as a multi age experience however when you join the program you will be able to choose the appropriate age group.

Please note this is a non-refundable experience, however, if your sign up for the full year course and pay upfront for the full year, you will receive a $100 credit to go towards the tuition fees.
Highlights from our ACTING FOR FILM program.
Our year long ACTING FOR FILM course is sometimes a big leap to jump into straight away without trialing the Teacher Artist/Film Instructor, the class, the content and the company.
By coming along to our intensive studio experience you will be given the opportunity to see if this is actually something you want to pursue for the duration of a year. You’ll get to meet our amazing Film Instructors and also some of the potential students who are also wanting to join the course. The Goat Track Tribe has a very unique cultural ‘vibe’ and this is perhaps one of the most important things you’ll get to experience.
In this Studio Experience you will be guided through 3 learning experiences which are very practical and you will get heaps of time in front of the camera. You will specifically look at FRAMES, FEELINGS & FILM.
1) FRAMES
Ever wonder why acting for film is different to any other acting? In this workshop you will learn how to combine film angles and shots with your own individual acting technique and more importantly how each frame and shot impacts the choices an actor needs to make when acting within these frames and shots. You will walk away knowing how to make professional acting decisions, being able to communicate more effectively with directors and have a strong on-screen presence.
2) FEELINGS
Would you like to know how to cry on cue like all the professional actors do in the movies? In this workshop you will be introduced to Goat Track’s very own Emotional Disc Model. Finding the basic beats to your characters journey and the to build dramatic meaning of your script are vital as too are the qualitative and quantitative emotions that the character experiences . After today’s Studio Experience you will find the sweet spot of conveying emotions and feelings on screen and being able to relate and depict a characters actions with greater authenticity.
3) FILM
Time to watch it come together! In this final workshop you will fuse both frames and feelings to create a masterpiece of on-screen work. You will learn how to balance film and acting techniques in a really practical way as you start to develop a really unique on-screen presence. You should walk away feeling empowered and confident to deliver your best work emotionally
and physically on screen. There is no doubt once completing this Studio Experience that you will want to take the leap into the world of film.
On completion of the Studio Experience we will have short Q&A which will give you and your child the opportunity to ask any of those questions you are dying to ask about the course.
